Since 1992 Vermont Quarries Corp. has operated the famous white Danby marble quarry in Danby, Vermont. A precious heritage, consisting not only of the most prestigious white marble produced in North America, but also a century of craftsmanship and quarrying know-how, to be preserved and enhanced by the most up to date state-of-the-art technology and equipment.

Vermont Danby Marble® has been chosen for some of the most prominent and impressive buildings and monuments that have come to symbolize American Civilization.

Several grades of the precious white Danby marble are currently quarried. They are: Olympian White, Mountain White, Appalachian Green, Royal, Eureka Calacatta, Imperial, Montclair Arabescato and Mariposa, and Crystal Stratus. Also available is the Vermont Verde Cavendish, from our Cavendish quarry.
