Vermont Danby Marbles
Vermont Danby Marble is available in several distinct grades, all of which are the same in the unique physical characteristics which makes Danby Marble suitable for commercial projects or for kitchen countertops.
Appalachian Green
Consistent green veins (compared to Cippolino). 80% of the grade is the green veining with subtle hints of Danby White in the background.
Crystal Stratus
Gray, green with a touch of peach crystalline veins. The wildest of all Danby grades with lots of movement throughout. Large crystals can appear.
Eureka Calacatta
Darker gold and gray veins (compared often to Calacatta Gold). Medium to heavy veining.
Danby Gray
Gray in color with a mix of the white Danby background. One of the older Danby grades utilized.
Montclair Danby
Greenish to gray veins typically running diagonally. Medium to heavy veining often used for bookmatching.
Mountain White
Gray diagonal veins. Medium to heavy veining. Very white background coming from the Brook Layer of the Danby Quarry.
Olympian White
Soft gray veins. Light to medium veining. Very white background coming from the Brook Layer of the Danby Quarry.
Verde Cavendish
Dark green marble with white veins. A true serpentine with extreme hardness.
